HAI BISOGNO DI UN MEDICO?
Se hai bisogno di un medico durante il tuo soggiorno a Pavia, puoi rivolgerti a un medico di base temporaneo, disponibile sia per i cittadini europei che per i cittadini extra-europei.
SE SEI UN CITTADINO EUROPEO:
Ti basterà scegliere un medico di medicina generale iscritto nell'apposito elenco disponibile sia presso gli uffici dell'Agenzia di Tutela di Salute (ATS) di Pavia, sia on-line nella pagina dedicata al il-tuo-medico-pediatra (vai a sinistra dove c'è scritto "Cerca medico", clicca su "Comune" e scegli "Pavia").
Una volta individuato il medico, occorre prendere un appuntamento chiamando il numero di telefono indicato e/o recarsi direttamente presso l'ambulatorio negli orari elencati, mostrando la Tessera sanitaria europea e un documento di identità.

In caso di estrema necessità ci si può recare al Pronto Soccorso dell'ospedale Policlinico San Matteo di Pavia. Ma attenzione: recarsi al Pronto Soccorso senza un valido motivo potrebbe comportare l'addebitamento del costo delle cure ricevute.
Il Pronto Soccorso del San Matteo si trova presso gli edifici del Nuovo Ospedale DEA, il cui ingresso è presso la Strada Privata Campeggi.

DO YOU NEED A DOCTOR?
If you need a doctor during your stay in Pavia, you can consult a temporary general practitioner, available for both European and non-European citizens.
IF YOU ARE A EUROPEAN CITIZEN:
You will simply need to choose a general practitioner from the list available at the offices of the Health Protection Agency (ATS) of Pavia or online on the page dedicated to your-doctor-pediatrician (go to the left where it says "Search doctor," click on "Municipality," and select "Pavia").
Once you have identified the doctor, you need to make an appointment by calling the phone number provided and/or going directly to the clinic during the listed hours, showing your European Health Insurance Card and an ID document.
IF YOU ARE A NON-EUROPEAN CITIZEN:
You will need to go to the ATS office to sign an Italian health insurance contract.

In case of extreme necessity, you can go to the Emergency Room of the Policlinico San Matteo Hospital in Pavia. However, be aware: going to the Emergency Room without a valid reason could result in being charged for the care received.
